Oxford Languages defines Critical Thinking as the objective analysis and evaluation of an issue in order to form a judgment. Throughout our lives, we are influenced about how to think by the thoughts and opinions of others.

Somewhere along the way, in order to be successful, children must learn how to think for themselves. Parents can only hope that our students and children will develop a critical thinking pattern that will better the world and future generations to come.

As parents, we constantly strive to equip our children with the skills they need to succeed in life. One essential skill that can make a significant difference in their future is problem-solving. The ability to analyze challenges, think critically, and devise innovative solutions is highly valued in today's rapidly changing world.

So, how can we, as parents, help our high schoolers develop and enhance their problem-solving skills?

What Is STEM Education?

Monday, October 02, 2023

In a rapidly advancing world, where technology and innovation drive progress, it is crucial for students to have a strong foundation in STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

STEM education not only equips students with essential skills, such as critical thinking and problem-solving, but also prepares them for the challenges and opportunities of the future.

By engaging in STEM learning, students develop a deep understanding of scientific principles, technological advancements, engineering design processes, and mathematical concepts. They learn to apply these skills in real-world scenarios, fostering creativity and innovation.
