ALABAMA AEROSPACE AND AVIATION HIGH SCHOOL (AAHS) IS HOSTING A VIRTUAL CAREER DAY TODAY, APRIL 19, AT APPROXIMATELY 6 P.M.

ALABAMA AVIATION AND AEROSPACE HIGH SCHOOL WILL OPEN ITS DOORS FOR THE FIRST TIME ON AUGUST 28.

Founder Reuben Morris says the charter school already has 75 students enrolled in its inaugural class and is on its way to filling all 130 available slots for incoming freshmen. Classes will begin at the former Bessemer High School – currently owned by the Foundation of Life Ministries – location this fall, and later this year, they will break ground on a new 60,000-square-foot facility at Bessemer Municipal Airport.

THE ALABAMA AEROSPACE AND AVIATION HIGH SCHOOL IS NOW OPEN FOR ENROLLMENT TO STUDENTS, AS IT PREPARES TO OPEN ITS DOORS IN AUGUST. THE SCHOOL IS ALSO LOOKING TO HIRE TEACHERS FOR IT’S FIRST YEAR.

The school, which is for 9th through 12th graders, is aviation-focused, and designed to help students get ready for aerospace and aviation careers. It will also offer multiple STEM related pathways and a college preparatory curriculum.
